Flickr & PhotoFunia

Description: Flickr is an online photo-sharing website. Photos can be enhanced using PhotoFunia (see teacher examples below) and then uploaded to a Flickr photostream. A Slideshow gadget can then be added to the Panther Online blog using the class photostream to display student work.  

Activity: Students will use a classroom account created on Flickr to select an image of a panther. They will save their image to their e-locker and then upload it to PhotoFunia where they can enhance the photo. The enhanced photo will be uploaded to the group's Flickr photostream. Within 24-48 hours the photostream will be available for upload into Slideshow, a blog gadget.
